Madame

A custom order. „Madame“ is based on a Hamer Studio but with a lot of custom specs. It was my favourite way of creation: on the one hand the customer had an exact conception, on the other hand we were very free with some details. Most important for him were very rounded edges, especially on the arm rest and PRS-style sharp cutaways. To be honest I was sceptical that the rounded edges and the sharp cutaway shaping would look good together and I had to ask about it several times but at the end it looks great. The customer said: „this is exactly what I imagined!“

The headstock design is taken from our model „Liese“, in our opinion a more elegant shape than the Hamer original.

The colour is also special and classy: Top and headstock are black transparent, the back side is completely natural. The hardware is all black and the fretboard is ebony, so the front view is black-in-black and the rear view very different to that.

Another difference to the Hamer original is a floyd rose tremolo from Schaller. The pickups are Seymour Duncan‘s „Sentien“ and „Pegasus“ which have a high output. The wiring is quite classic: a toggle switch, one volume and one tone control, that can split the pickups via push-pull.

The inlay is made of mother of pearl and also a custom order. It is the initial letters of his name in his own handwriting.
